Rural Communities Broadband Fund

Two villages in the outlying parishes of Kirkburton and Denby Dale (Kirklees) to apply for for funding under the Rural Communities Broadband Fund.

An application for funding under the Rural Communities Broadband Fund is being prepared by Grey Sky consulting and supported by Kirklees Council officers - in two villages in Kirkburton and Denby Dale in south Kirklees.

However, any successful application for funding will depend upon the local community/businesses registering their demand for better broadband in these locations.  The Superfast West Yorkshire website has been commissioned to faciliate the demand registration needed as evidence for this project and funding application.

If you are a resident in either Denby Dale or Kirkburton and have received a leaflet through the door about the project or have been consulted by community engagement officers, then you can register your demand for better broadband here - simply go to either the Residents or Business section and click Register Demand.
