17 November 2014Google juice bar to squeeze the best out of local businesses
Global internet giant Google will be heading to Leeds later this month to help local businesses make the most of opportunities available to them on the web.
Organised by Superfast West Yorkshire Business Support programme, Superconnected Leeds Bradford, and BPiF CDi Print Yorkshire, the event will feature a presentation from Google on how to use the internet to transform the way businesses work followed by a unique opportunity to consult with Google representatives on a one-to-one basis.
Held at The Salem Chapel on Friday 21 November, the event is free to attend for *European Regional Development Fund eligible businesses in the West Yorkshire area.
Guest speakers at the event include Roger Marsh, Chair of the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, and Martin Boddy CEO of Jaywing.

- The Superfast West Yorkshire business support programme is jointly funded by the European Regional Development Fund Programme 2007-2013, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and West Yorkshire’s 5 Local Authorities – Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield Councils. The Department for Communities and Local Government is the managing authority for the European Regional Development Fund Programme, which is one of the funds established by the European Commission to help local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support local businesses and create jobs. - Superfast West Yorkshire will offer free business support services for local SMEs between now and June 2015, supporting over 350 businesses with intensive support, plus hundreds of others with some aspect of support and advice.
